Asian Mart Update!

Hello all,

I am just going to update everyone on the progress of the store.
Asian Mart, about a week ago, made the Tulsa World newspaper. They were on the front page of the "Business" section portion of the newspaper. I know many people don't read the newspaper in Tulsa, none-the-less the business section.

Here is a link to the article-

They have recently gotten great exposure because of this, which just means great news for the business. That just goes to show how such little exposure, can do so much!

Asian Mart has great potential and should be used to help, service, and provide the community in every possible way!

  3. Tou that is awesome! I think the article will really help them out because not only was it exposure, but it described what they carry and the variety they have in stock. Also, I really liked the comment they wrote from the store owner it sounded really sincere and I think that kind of tone really makes people want to shop there!

  5. I was interested in finding out if you've have much contact with the company, and if they've listened to any of your suggestions for marketing. I find it amazing how many companies have never made a business plan or marketing plan. It seems to be the first thing a company should do, but not everyone sees it that way. Many companies do not want any help either; they consider it offensive or unwarranted. Good luck with your plan. We're almost done with this semester!

  6. This is kind of a stupid question, but is the store really only designed to appeal to asians? or is that just the primary target market?
